“THE TRUST BETWEEN THE MINISTRY AND SOCIETY HAS BEEN DAMAGED”

* To this day, the effort not to share data openly and transparently, unfortunately, has served no purpose other than the spread of the epidemic and the inability to control it.
* It is obvious that economics and politics outperform science in this situation. The goal should be to fight the epidemic.
* Considering that it is announced that almost all the issues related to the epidemic are advancing in line with the recommendations of the Scientific Committee, it is unknown if this situation regarding the data is suggested by the Scientific Committee and this situation puts the Scientific Committee in responsibility.
“EVERY CASE WITH OR WITHOUT SYMPTOMS IS A COVID-19 PATIENT”
Stating that Health Minister Koca never used the coding system suggested by the World Health Organization, TTB said: “Data is not counted in real numbers. Showing low statistics of deaths from the Covid 19 pandemic is a great injustice and a lack of respect for society. In response to Health Minister Fahrettin Koca’s statement, “Not all cases are sick,” we say that ‘all cases are COVID-19 patients’ as TTB with or without symptoms.
“WE INVITE THE MINISTER OF HEALTH TO RESIGNATE”
Recalling that they have insisted that all contacts should be tested even if they do not have symptoms, since the beginning of the epidemic, TTB gave the following words:
* You cannot be successful showing low cases, changing terms, making different statements every day. You can control the epidemic only by fighting together with society, healthcare professionals, medical chambers, TTB, and scientists.
* From here, as TTB, we ask the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca to explain the data in a truthful and transparent way and, if there is pressure on the Scientific Committee, that the members of the council disclose them. We emphasize that society expects an apology first. If they are not done, we invite the Minister of Health to resign.
