US President Donald Trump was hospitalized with a private White House helicopter called Marine One less than 24 hours after the coronavirus test came back positive.

In a statement made by the White House, it was claimed that Trump was transferred to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for precautionary reasons.

In the statement, it was noted that President Trump “feels tired, but his morale is good.”

Trump then posted an 18-second video on his Twitter account.

Trump in the video; “I want to thank everyone for their tremendous support. I am going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I have done a great job, but we want to make sure everything is okay. The First Lady does a great job too. Thank you very much. I really appreciate your support and I will never forget”. She said.

In an earlier statement from the White House, it was announced that Trump was on duty despite having mild symptoms.

Trump shows some mild symptoms, including a mild fever, according to CBS News, the BBC’s broadcast partner in the United States.

Trump and his wife, first lady Melanie Trump, also tested positive, and the couple had previously quarantined themselves at the White House Wednesday night.

The tests of US Vice President Mike Pence and Trump’s rival, Joe Biden, in the presidential election on November 3 were negative.

You can delegate powers to your assistant Mike Pence

The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, near the capital Washington, is one of the largest and best-known hospitals in the United States.

Routine annual health checkups for presidents in the US are usually done at this hospital.

Under the US Constitution, if Trump becomes too ill to fulfill his duties, he can temporarily transfer his powers to Vice President Mike Pence.

But Alyssa Farah, the White House communications director, said Trump has yet to delegate powers to Vice President Mike Pence.

“The president is at his job,” Farah said.

The 74-year-old Trump canceled all of his rallies or turned them into virtual rallies after he got caught up in the coronavirus.

Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden continues his election campaign.

Biden had previously said that he wanted the Trump couple to be healthy as soon as possible.

Former President Barack Obama made a similar statement, while the Democratic Party stopped using all the ads that Trump was criticized for in his election campaign.
