AYM member Engin Yıldırım made a reference to the refusal of the 14th Istanbul Superior Criminal Court to recognize the ‘new trial’ decision against Enis Berberoğlu, with a post on his social media account.
Yıldırım shared AYM’s photo with the note “The lights are on” in her reference to her social media account.
Following this post by Engin Yıldırım, TRT’s main news anchor Ersoy Dede quoted Yıldırım’s tweet from her Twitter account and said: “Maybe you should openly say what you want to say and get the answer. And if you’re emphasizing the law with this unacceptable implication, that is the law. He will also ask for the account of the exchange and then intimidate himself by saying “I meant ‘we were working overtime'”.
