“The Oruç Reis Seismic Research Vessel began seismic exploration and research activities at the Demre-1 location in the Mediterranean on 10 August. Oruç Reis has so far collected seismic data from 3,525 km in the area.
PREPARING FOR THE NEXT MISSION
Oruç Reis returns to the port once a month for planned maintenance, change of personnel and preparations for the next mission, in accordance with its operating principle.
SUPPLY AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Returning the ship to port for supply and maintenance on a monthly basis is his routine activity all the time. The ship will continue its seismic exploration and research activities after its supply and maintenance operations.
CONTINUE WITH EXPLORATION AND DRILLING ACTIVITIES
