Meral Akşener, leader of the İYİ Party, speaks on his party’s membership program in Ankara.

We send a quarter of that money to provincial and district organizations. Because that money is legal for my brothers and sisters in organizations. They spent money from their pockets or borrowed money from someone. We apply a resource spending method that shows how it is spent with virtually no waste, saying there are no reputational savings and no big expenses. I would like friends who say that reputation cannot be saved to examine the economic attitude of our party.
‘AKP VOTERS ARE LOOKING’
We say that people call us, or that people really call us. There are those who call us from Konya. There are unemployed, there are mothers, there are those who suffer from EBA. There are callers from Aksaray, Yozgat, Nevşehir. In other words, 70-75 percent of Central Anatolia are looking for those who vote for the AKP. Says traders are watching, say our problem. Currently, our only job is to listen to the problems of the citizens, to make a voice in the group through the pulpit, in the local press through the provincial and district organizations. For a time, there has been a loss of reputation on moral values. İYİ Party started breaking this. People now look into each other’s eyes. The situation of the merchants who voted for CHP, AKP and the Good Party is disastrous. The citizen has realized this. What we are trying to do is show that choosing is the benefactor. We teach this to aghas and mukhtars.

If we had not established our party in that difficult period, would it be possible to have a competitive environment in politics today? We are a different political party. We are not hostile to anyone. We are not hostile to anyone, including those who are hostile to us. We not only criticize, we also offer a solution. It is up to them to take and apply.
