The accident occurred on the Kavacık ramp of the Izmir-Ankara D300 highway at 9:30 p.m. According to the claim, 33 CNC 86 TIR plate under the direction of Mehmet Taş, who was moving from İzmir to Uşak direction, got out of control on the slippery road with the effect of rainy weather. The truck crashed into the central median and overturned towards the palisade on the right side of the road.
The driver Mehmet Taş and his brother Hasan Taş, who jumped out of the TIR bowl during the accident, were seriously injured. Hasan Taş, seriously injured, was transferred to Salihli State Hospital after medical teams. It was learned that Hasan Taş was in mortal danger. The driver Mehmet Taş was taken to Kula State Hospital and received treatment.
