Speaking to the spokesman, Erdogan Çetin, president of the Istanbul Chamber of Bakers, said the ovens will continue to serve in this process.

Speaking to Sözcü, the president of the Federation of the Chamber of Bakers, Halil İbrahim Balcı, made important statements on the situation in question.

Balcı stated that there are no problems with bread production on Saturdays and Sundays. Explaining that they informed their colleagues, Balcı said: “Production will take place and will be distributed to neighborhoods in vehicles. Vehicles will go to all neighborhoods. There is no situation where citizens are nervous. “

In affirming that the bakers will do their part, Balcı said: “In places where there will be anguish, the district government and the municipalities will come into play. They will distribute bread with their tools. We will do our part. We will do the same production or even overproduction. If necessary, stay. But people should not look for bread and be nervous.
