The sound of the siren that was heard from Istanbul’s Üsküdar and Kadıköy districts for approximately 2 minutes caused panic among citizens.
The incident took place around the former Koşuyolu Heart Hospital around 11:42 p.m. Residents who heard the sound of the siren panicked. While some citizens took pictures with their mobile phones while the sound of the siren was heard from the windows of their houses, some citizens left in a panic. After a while, when the malfunction was resolved, the siren sound stopped. Citizens also returned to their homes.
