Doğan’s funeral was buried after noon prayer in his hometown, the Yukarıçanlı village of Kızılcahamam, Ankara. Doğan’s funeral oration was attended by Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gül, Environment and Urbanization Minister Murat Kurum, Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin, Kızılcahamam Governor Can Aksoy, Mayor Süleyman Acar and citizens.
