In Adana, former professor Erdoğan Küpeli attempted suicide by shooting cashier Tuğba Keleş, who responded negatively to the offer of friendship, with a gun to her head and fired the same gun on her own.

Hired teacher Erdoğan Küpeli (46), who was arrested for harassing and threatening Gülay Mubarak (29), who lives in Hatay, on social media in 2016, was released under the condition of judicial control.
Küpeli, who was later found to have posted insulting messages to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his social media account, was arrested and taken to Kozan Prison in Adana. Küpeli was sentenced to a total of 8 years and 3 months in prison for “threatening”, “insulting” and “violating the privacy of private life”.
Erdogan Kupeli, who started working in a local newspaper distribution business in the district after being released, arrived at the market in the district’s Tufanpaşa district around 11:00 today and shot a gun to the head to the cashier Tuğba Keleş (35), who responded negatively to the friendship offer. While Keleş was seriously injured, Küpeli attempted suicide by shooting the same gun at her head.
Following the warning, many health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Tuğba Keleş and Erdoğan Küpeli were taken to the hospital by ambulances. Keleş could not save himself despite all the interventions.
Erdoğan Küpeli, who was being treated, was reportedly unable to survive the death threat.
