The Chief of the Ethics Office of the Mersin Provincial Security Directorate, under the Directorate of the Public Security Branch, launched an investigation to arrest the suspects who engaged in prostitution, negotiated and provided a place throughout the city. SIMULTANEOUS PRINTING IN 26 DIRECTIONS
According to the news in DHA, simultaneous operations with 60 teams and 145 people were carried out in 26 determined directions in the morning. Of the 26 suspects who had an arrest warrant, 23 were detained in Mersin and one in Adıyaman.
In the searches made to the addresses of the suspects, 26 mobile phones, 4 tablets, 1 computer, 1 pistol and 50 bullets belonging to the weapon were seized.
WOMEN HAVE GIVEN
The suspects, who were determined to have victimized 19 women through prostitution, were revealed to have official and religious marriages with women to hide. The suspects were found to refer to the women as “bags” and occasionally traded them with women who were in the hands of other suspects.
19 SUSPECT JURISDICTION SUSPECT
8 women and 11 men, 19 suspects whose formalities with the police were completed, were transferred to court. 5 suspects were released after their actions at the police station.
Efforts are continuing to capture the two fugitive suspects, who were determined to be involved in the incident.
