* After testing the day before, when the total number of cases was 23, the neighborhood became a private study area. Private health teams set up mobile vehicles and tents and began a neighborhood-wide rescan study of 90 households and 900 residents. In coronavirus tests conducted on 200 people yesterday, the results of 21 more were positive. With the latest cases, the number of coronavirus cases in the neighborhood increased to 44.

Mehmet Emin Bilmez, the governor of Van and deputy mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, told reporters yesterday that the neighborhood was declared a private work area by the Ministry of Health. (DHA)
