HOW THE SCHOOLS WILL OPEN
Face-to-face education begins on September 21 for students who start their classes with the distance education model.
Student participation in face-to-face education will not be mandatory, and parents may facilitate student continuation of distance education on a voluntary basis without the need to submit a written request.
THE DETAILS ARE CLEAR
The National Education Ministry shared the technical details on how to implement face-to-face training, which will begin on Monday, September 21, in a letter sent to 81 provincial national education directorates on September 10.
According to the letter sent with the signature of the Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk, the adaptation program that will take place between September 21 and 25, the first week of opening of schools, will be carried out in the institutions of preschool education and in the 1st grade of primary school as ‘one-day face-to-face education’.
If necessary, the students of the branch will be divided into groups and will train in person according to the rule of social distance, taking into account the physical conditions of the school.
The days when the groups that arise with the division of the class size arrive at the school will be different.
HOW MANY MINUTES WILL THE LESSONS BE?
In the first week of early childhood education, adaptation training will be carried out with 1 day, 30 minutes of 5 hours of activity.
The week after the integration week, which covers the dates from September 28 to October 2, and the following will take place in preschool educational institutions during 5 hours of activity of 30 minutes a day, 2 days a week .
Education will continue in line with the same planning to this date in the institutions that continue their face-to-face education in preschool education until September 21.
Elementary school 1st grade students will provide orientation training for 5 lessons of 30 minutes each in the first week of classroom training.
The week after the integration week, which covers the dates of September 28 to October 2, and then, 2 days a week, 5 lessons of 30 minutes each, face-to-face training will be provided.
There will be a 10 minute rest period between lessons. School administrations will make the necessary plans, including duty of duty, to maintain social distance between students during recess.
WHAT WILL THE COURSE PROGRAM LIKE?
The Ministry of National Education assigned the first week of face-to-face education to the harmony of pre-school and first-grade students who will barely encounter school life.
Within the scope of the Covid-19 measures, the rules of personal hygiene, mask and social distance with non-contact games and fun activities will be explained to students.
In the week after the adaptation week, which covers the dates from September 28 to October 2, and on the other hand, the Turkish lesson is 6 hours of class, 3 lessons 2 days a week, 2 hours of lesson, 1 math lesson two days a week, life studies 2 days a week. 2 hours of course will be taught, including 1 hour of course, in face-to-face training.
Regarding these lessons, the course hours that cannot be taught in person and other lessons of the 1st grade program of primary school will be taught by distance education systems with live classroom applications from the EBA TV and EBA portal.
