The Health Ministry announced that all foreign passengers were required to undergo a negative PCR test in the last 72 hours before boarding. The decision would be valid for all passengers arriving by air from abroad as of Monday, December 28.
APPLICABLE TO DECEMBER 30
Turkish Airlines (THY) announced on its social media account that the implementation of the decision was delayed by 2 days.
The statement made on THY’s social media account read:
* Overseas from Turkey, cheap flight with a maximum flight time of 72 hours before the negative PCR test, the sample submission requirements apply to 2 days on a translational basis will be implemented to be effective from December 30, 2020.
* Passengers who do not have a negative PCR test result in a print or digital environment will not be accepted on the flight.
* It is not mandatory to present test results for passengers under 6 years of age.
