The miracle that came to light from the remains of Rıza Bey’s apartment after 91 hours was called Ayda. Three-year-old Ayda Gezgin was exhumed from the rubble around 10:00 this morning, causing some to smile and others to cry with happiness. Ayda was the daughter of Uğur Gezgin, a former soccer referee from the İzmir region, and his wife Fidan Gezgin. He was under the rubble with his mother Fidan Gezgin. ‘WHILE THE HOPE HAS DIMINISHED, WE HAVE RENEWED ELİF’S SMILE’
One of the miraculous children of the earthquake was three-year-old Elif. All aid workers in Turkey have memory locations with photographs attached to their fingers. Elif Perinçek was pulled from the rubble 65 hours later and left in the rubble of Emrah’s apartment, which was turned into a pile of concrete.
Ahmet Yavuz, deputy director of IMM’s fire brigade, who was in the region, said they met Elif’s smile at a time when hopes were low and used the following expressions: “After seeing the smile of Elif, we couldn’t hold back our happy tears. RESISTANT FOR 58 HOURS: İDİL
Another name blocking the screen with all of Turkey for Liberation was an idyll. Like Elif, İdil, 14, was buried under the rubble of Emrah’s apartment. Rescuing İdil Şirin, who held out under the rubble for 58 hours, took three hours after they reached her.
The first mention of Idil said that search and rescue operations, fire service personnel in the mission area, hurt for all of Turkey. Idil, known as the miracle, was buried next to his brother. It was said that İdil Şirin, who said “I have a brother, he died”, told his 8-year-old brother, İpek, “My brother was alive, but lately there was no sound.
Hasan Alaca, who works for the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, stated that İdil’s brother, İpek, probably died the day his sister was rescued.
Four days have passed since the earthquake. Search and rescue efforts continue. 883 of 1027 wounded have been discharged. The number of people who lost their lives increased to 109. All of Turkey smiles to some extent thanks to the children who miraculously survived.
