However, despite the best efforts of the doctors, he lost sight in his left eye.
‘HE HAS COME TO KILL ME’
As the police launched a full-scale investigation into the attack, lawyer Tuzcu, whose stab wound to the neck was 2 centimeters from the jugular vein, spoke to DHA in his hospital room.
Stating that the attacker was wearing a wig, Tuzcu explained the timing of the incident as follows:
“I came home after leaving the office and wandered through the market with my car. I have always left my car where it was parked. When I looked at the rear of the vehicle, I realized that there was a person. He had hair. I asked myself ‘Is it a man or a woman?’ I asked. He had a different type. He didn’t seem like a confident person. I thought, should I get out of the car? It occurred to me that he might be a schizophrenic or a kidnapper. Then I said what could happen and got out of the car. I have no hostility to anyone. I noticed he was closing in on me when he got out of the vehicle and headed home. It was a fraction of a second. When I returned there was very little distance between us. Just as I was about to turn around, the knife hit my back. I returned with dignity. There was a fight between us. “

Stating that the attacker always threw the knife in his face, lawyer Asilcan Tuzcu said: “I tried to protect myself. I tried to hit myself while attacking my face with that knife. He was swinging the knife in his hand over my throat, towards my face. Put the knife to my eye, my world went black. I felt my eyes drift away. My stamina has decreased. There was blood flowing throughout my body. He kept attacking me. He was driving the knife into my heart and throat. He came to kill me. He tried to make me fall. He started swinging the knife towards my legs. When I resisted, the knife did not hit my legs. I came back from the dead. I want the perpetrator to be caught and tried in the supreme court and receive the punishment he deserves. I want help from our Minister of Justice; “Not just because I am a lawyer, an attack of this type against anyone is unacceptable,” he said.
