In the incident that occurred in Ankara between 2017 and 2018, YE (11), who was in second grade at the time, sent her mother SE to her neighbors to buy repair materials. FK (60), who opened the door, said that his wife was downstairs and took the girl to the lower floor of the house. Touching YE’s private parts here, FK abused the girl. After two weeks, FK abused YE this time while walking her dog in the park near her home.
BROKEN PSYCHOLOGY
The girl could not share her nightmare with anyone because of her fear. One day his girlfriend, whom he was chatting with at school, told YE about the sexual abuse she suffered. Realizing that there are similarities between the stories of his girlfriend and his own experiences, the little girl gave a letter to her mother before her birthday party, to which FK was also invited, who abused her.
After the family learned of the sexual abuse, they went to court. Following the investigation initiated against FK, an indictment was prepared for the crime of “chain child sexual abuse”. Despite the prosecutor’s objection, it was decided that FK would be tried without arrest.
“I WANT TO DIE”
Mother SE, who was heard at the first hearing of the case held on November 19, said that her daughter was successful in 1st and 2nd grade, but began to experience some psychological problems beginning in 3rd grade: “ A early 2020, he said ‘sometimes I want to die’. Why is she my daughter? When I asked him, he said ‘I think about the old days’. But he wasn’t counting it. The first time the incident happened it happened on my daughter’s birthday. Together with some of the neighbors, we invited the accused and his wife. Before the guests arrived, my daughter handed me the letter that said ‘Mom, I’ll give you a letter.’ I was writing articles in which I said that the accused abused my daughter, I was surprised when I read it, I had a crying spell. “
FK said in his statement that he does not accept the allegations at all.

YE’s attorney Volkan Berber, who took up the case as the Women’s and Children’s Association, said:
“One of the saddest details in the file is the letter. In the content of the letter, the girl begs her family to believe in her, so to speak. The accused is referred to the Criminal Court of the Peace by the Ankara General Prosecutor’s Office with a request for his arrest. The Criminal Justice of the Peace rejects this request for detention. Although the decision to reject the arrest request is contested by the Prosecutor’s Office, no result is obtained. House arrest is imposed on the perpetrator. Later, even the house arrest is lifted and the perpetrator goes wandering waving his hand, so to speak. There is no hostility between the perpetrator and the victim’s family, and there is no situation that requires slander. Furthermore, the victim is not old enough to fictionalize facts and slander. “
