The first fire was intervened by the water pipes belonging to the Inebolu Forest Management Directorate and the Inebolu Fire Department. When the equipment was insufficient, the support of the surrounding districts was requested for the extinction of fires. The fire is intervened with 10 excavators, 6 fire trucks, 3 water tanks and a team of 50 people from the surrounding neighborhoods. Village residents and gendarmerie teams also supported the firefighting efforts. The teams continue to work to extinguish the fire that is approaching 200 meters from the settlements. Satiye Çıvgın, 60, who supported the firefighting efforts, was burned and injured. Çıvgın, who was first responded to by the 112 Emergency Service teams waiting at the scene, was transferred to İnebolu State Hospital and received treatment.
