The murder suspect of the elderly couple, whose bodies were found by a pastor in a 2-meter well in Dinar district and who have been wanted for 17 days, confessed to their killings in police questioning today. The murder suspect for the Cevdet and Zeliha Uysal couple was revealed to be Zeliha’s brother, Bünyamin A. Bünyamin A. explained how he committed the murders as follows:
“I went to the couple’s house around 07.30 on October 26 to talk, we argued with Cevdet and my sister Zeliha Uysal, then I killed them with a shotgun. I did not receive help from anyone in the incident, I was alone from beginning to end I took the bodies to the well alone. “
THE OLD COUP FINDS A SHEPHERD IN THE WELL
Abdullah Korkmaz, who worked as a shepherd in the town of Pınarlı in Dinar, went to the countryside to graze his goats. In the afternoon, Abdullah Korkmaz sat near a well belonging to an irrigation canal near the Yılanlı Dere location to rest. Meanwhile, Korkmaz, realizing that the bad smell was emitting from the environment, looked around to search for the source of the smell. Abdullah Korkmaz, who controlled the 2-meter well, found the bodies of two people.

Following the warning from Çoban Korkmaz, the gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The examination found that 2 people, 1 of whom was a woman, were covered in stones and whose faces were unrecognizable. Following instructions from the prosecutor who came to the scene, the gendarmerie crime scene investigation teams lowered the well and removed the bodies. The possibility that the bodies belong to the Cevdet and Zeliha Uysal couple, who have been searched for 17 days as missing, was discussed. After examination, the two bodies were sent to the Dinar State Hospital morgue for autopsy and identification. An investigation into the incident has been launched.

The Cevdet and Zeliha Uysal couple, who live in the village of Pınarlı and have not been informed since October 26, have their mobile phones at home with the doors locked and keys; Cevdet Uysal’s vehicle was also found in the garage of the house with the ignition key.
