In Ardahan, the ravens that invaded the city recently appeared at night, this time. The crows flying in groups in the sky made noise until morning and did not put the citizens to sleep until morning.

Ardahan was attacked by a raven in the first week of February. Hundreds of crows flying over the city in the center of the city, especially in the early hours of the morning or at night, disturbed some citizens.

Citizens breathed a sigh of relief when the raven invasion ended, which lasted 4 days. The raven invasion started again yesterday in Ardahan, which has been silent for about a month. The crows that emerged with the snow fell over the city like a dark cloud.

While some of the crows that flew in the sky for a long time collectively landed on the roofs, some of them landed on power lines and trees.

The roofs and trees disappeared from the crows. The crows that appeared with the snowfall flew loudly over the city until dawn.

‘WET HOLES IN THE SNOW’
Specialist biologist and environmental engineer Kemal Kayatürk, who attributed the large increase in the crow population in the night hours to snowfall, made their nests in open areas due to the sudden and wet snowfall at night, and the nests of the animals they were filled with snow.

The ground of their nest was wet with snow. Therefore, the crows left their nests and gathered.

They then spent the night together to keep their body temperature dropping and to keep warm.

“The problem is nothing more than an adaptation to their wet nests from falling snow,” he said.
