Images of a person working in a company that produces pickled peppers in Çanakkale, dancing and crushing the peppers with their feet, prompted the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
The images in question were posted by an employee of the company on the social media platform TikTok. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, which took measures with the dissemination of the images, sanctioned the company where the person works for not complying with hygiene regulations.

It was announced that the company, which was found to be located in the village of Kozçeşme, in the Biga district, was destroyed when 2.5 tonnes of products were seized at the production stage and the company was fined.

Similar images were posted from a tomato paste production plant in Balıkesir on the same social media platform in recent weeks.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry detected and destroyed around 5 tons of bulk pasta and 3.5 tons of tomato paste in the workshop pools and fined the corresponding workshop.
