According to Musa Kesler’s report from Hürriyet; Sheriff Mustafa Koca, who has been working at Tirebolu Courthouse for 7 years, obtained a loan on behalf of RB, which was assigned to disabled staff. Mustafa Koca, who did not pay the debt despite its due date, did not return RB’s credit card. RB explained the situation to the prosecutor Yunus Emre Ersoy on duty at the court. Following RB’s complaint, Ersoy launched an investigation.

The police went to the home of Sheriff Mustafa Koca, who was on leave at the time, to summon him to testify. Very angry about the situation, he took his gun and went to court. The prosecutor shot Ersoy. The bullet first broke the prosecutor’s wrist watch. The prosecutor described that moment as “I realized that I was shot when blood spurted from my wrist.”

When the editor-in-chief, who heard the voices at the time, entered the room, the attacker panicked and Ersoy began to run with blood on his wrist. Mustafa Koca was chasing him when he left the courthouse. Meanwhile, the court police, who were waiting for the guard at the front door, ran to the floor where the shots came from. But when the prosecutor and the bailiff went to the protocol exit in the other direction, they did not meet.

I STOP THE CAR AND RUN

After leaving the courthouse, the injured prosecutor stopped a passing vehicle.

He said “I’m a prosecutor, they are going to kill me” and got into the vehicle and they took him to the hospital. Mustafa Koca, who was looking for him on the street, was captured by the police. Saying “I have psychological problems”, Koca was arrested. The investigation is ongoing.

‘I HAVE A WEAPON AT MY HEAD’

Prosecutor Ersoy explained his experiences in his statement as a ‘victim-whistleblower’ as follows:

“When I was sitting in my room in the afternoon my door opened without knocking, Mustafa Koca came in. I asked him why he didn’t knock on the door. He said, ‘I knocked, knocked, don’t worry.’ He pointed the gun at me. He cursed saying ‘Man I’ll kill you’ I said ‘What are you doing Mustafa!’ He came up to me, started hitting my face and head with the pistol grip. I put my hands to my head to protect me. He kept hitting me. He sat back in my chair. His hands were on his head because I thought he was going to shoot, I tried to protect my head. He fired a shot at me. ”

“When the blood comes out of my ankle.”

When blood spurted from my wrist, I realized that I was shot. Meanwhile, Headmistress H. lady came in screaming and started screaming. I couldn’t escape because I thought I might shoot behind me. Taking advantage of Principal H.’s opportunity to open the door, I hurried out of my room with blood flowing from my ankle and ran for the stairs. I went down twice. I reached the exit door of the court. When I looked back while running, I saw Mustafa following me. More scared, I started running towards the mosque next to the courthouse. “

“I’M BEV OFFICER, THEY WILL KILL ME”

“I thought about entering the mosque. But I started running from the side street to the gas station for him to squeeze me and kill me there. At that moment, a vehicle was coming. I jumped in front of him and stopped. I said: ‘I am the prosecutor, I am injured, they are going to kill me, please take me to the hospital.’ They took me to the car. He put a tampon on my wrist and took me to the hospital. If he hadn’t been able to escape, he would certainly have killed me. “
