In his letter to President Erdogan, Aliyev recalled that the Armenian army launched another military provocation against Azerbaijan on September 27 and opened fire on settlements and military positions with various weapons, including heavy artillery, from different directions.
Stating that soldiers and civilians died as a result of this provocation, Aliyev pointed out that the Azerbaijani army also launched a counterattack.
Aliyev claimed that the Armenian attack on September 27 was not the first incident in which the Yerevan administration resorted to military provocation against Azerbaijan, and claimed that the July-August attacks and the illegal settlement of foreigners in the occupied territories Azerbaijani showed that Armenia did not abandon its aggressive policy.
Aliyev claimed that the Armenian administration made the negotiation process meaningless with statements such as “Nagorno-Karabakh is Armenia”.
