Our number of cases continues to increase in Hatay, Adana, Samsun, Antalya, Mersin, and Ordu. Our hospitals and intensive care units are under great strain. The increase in cases began to decline in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Kocaeli, Konya, Sivas, Kahramanmaraş and Gaziantep.
THE VACCINE ARRIVES IN A FEW DAYS
Delivery of the coronavirus vaccine was scheduled for the next few days. Little by little, 50 million doses will arrive by now. Our negotiations continue for the MRNA vaccine. Although it is a new technology, its short-term results have been reported to be effective and safe. Our negotiations and insistence on this issue continue. Our discussions on alternative vaccines that may be relevant to Turkey’s standards continue.
HOW WILL THE CORONAVIRUS VACCINE BE GIVEN?
As a result of the positive results of the vaccine reliability tests, the data will be evaluated and approved. Vaccination will take place after this stage. We will try to evaluate all the possibilities we have to quickly pass these stages. The vaccine will be administered in 2 doses, with an interval of 14 to 21 days.
THE CORONAVIRUS VACCINE WILL BE FREE
As part of the vaccination campaign, it will be given to our citizens free of charge and will be carried out in our health institutions, especially in Family Health Centers. Our vaccinated citizens will be registered in the system.
