Süleyman Esen (43) lived with her family in Üsküdar, Istanbul. He fell from the balcony of his house on the sixth floor around 2:30 p.m. the day before. Upon notification of his relatives, the teams that arrived at the scene determined that Esen died. Esen’s body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the cause of death.
Family members told police that Esen, who was fired from his legal profession during the State Council case, had psychological problems and could have lost his balance from the balcony where he went to smoke.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Alparslan Arslan, who entered on May 17, 2006, when the delegation of five people from the Second Chamber of the State Council was in session, opened fire on the members and killed President Mustafa Multiple. Esen was acquitted of this case. In another case, Alparslan Arslan was tried and said: “I received the bombs from Süleyman Esen” about the bomb attack in our newspaper.
IMPORTANCE OF ESEN
Sheik Salih Kurter is an influential teacher in Alparslan Arslan, who committed the assassination of the Council of State. Süleyman Esen is his right hand man. He went frequently to Arslan Kurter.
After Sheikh Salih Kurter declared our newspaper unfaithful, Arslan bombed the newspaper building.
Alparslan Arslan always mentioned Süleyman Esen as a leader in hearings and statements.
Arslan met Aykut Metin Şükre through Esen, where he bought the weapon.
There is another detail to the matter. While the State Council’s murder decision was made in the local Ankara court, Süleyman Esen’s lawyer, Mehmet Ener, met with Osman Yıldırım. After this meeting, Yıldırım made statements linking the case to Ergenekon, “recalling” his membership in Ergenekon.
The interesting part of the problem was that Ener met frequently with Şamil Tayyar, who would later become an AKP MP. The meetings with Osman Yıldırım after the meeting with Tayyar were extraordinary.
Also striking was the frequent phone calls between Esen, Arslan and Osman Yıldırım prior to the attack on the State Council.
