MHP President Devlet Bahçeli made a written statement on the agenda.

The MHP leader Bahçeli, who put the death penalty back on the agenda, said: “The MHP is not interested in the death penalty, but it is clear that there is no other option for the successful fight against crime. and criminals who cross the border of fear. “

Bahçeli made the following statements in his statement:

“ THE TABLE THAT ALARMS ”

” Turkey are contiguous areas struggling with widespread and intense problem areas simultaneously, courage and determination in fighting stance and displays. There is tremendous resistance to the aggressive ambitions of Greece, France and some countries in the Mediterranean and Aegean region.

right next to Turkey and the law, oppressor, is the face of terrorists and invaders. The dangerous tension and the high polarization of the threat in the field of foreign policy open up all kinds of possibilities.

Our uncompromising right to intervene in hostility and betrayal is, of course, a necessity both in international law and in the interests of sovereign states. While there are so many hot agendas and developments on the one hand, there is a devastating increase in cases of violence, murder, stalking and rape on the other.

The table we see is alarming. Every day the most serious crimes are witnessed that freeze the blood of people, bleed their consciences and destroy measures of patience and resistance.

The third pages of newspapers, television screens, websites and social media platforms are full of disastrous and disastrous news.

In addition to violence against women, the abduction of children in broad daylight, being victimized by brutality and even being subjected to sexual abuse damages the conscience and also causes great sadness and disappointment.

Despite the extraordinary efforts and efforts of our government and especially our Minister of the Interior, the occurrence of violence, armed struggles and disputes arising from the smallest cause seriously disturbs peace and social spirit.

It is essential that non-governmental organizations, universities and national moral intellectuals show sensitivity to this painful situation.

Everyone who says that the Sabians, the nursing babies, the babies who have not yet sweated whiskers ruthlessly murdered people, cry and shake the heart.

Turning a blind eye to the murders of our innocent and innocent children reflected in the media every other day, the deaths of women disguised as suicide, remaining silent, remaining insensitive will never be compatible with either humanitarian relics or our beliefs and cultural heritage.

Cruelty is cruelty in silence.

It is not possible to continue with this dark image.

Legal, administrative, sociological, psychological and spiritual measures must be taken and applied urgently and absolutely.

It’s about human dignity, it’s about the safety of life and property.

The Nationalist Movement Party is following the hurtful events with concern.

Taking permanent and radical measures is an indispensable obligation.

Increasing the criminal penalties that come to mind first and that are useful to be reasonably discussed is to make them deep and effective.

In this sense, the inclusion of the ‘death penalty’ in our legal legislation can deter the commission of atrocious and primitive crimes.

The just and proportionate determination of the penalties corresponding to the acts of murderers, murderers and enemies of humanity who attack children, women, innocents and the oppressed with the most despicable methods is a necessity for the future of national unity and solidarity conscience. .

Currently, the number of countries that apply the death penalty worldwide is 56.

The number of countries that abolished the death penalty for ordinary crimes is 8, and the number of countries where the penalties are not carried out in practice although this penalty is not abolished is 28.

The death penalty in Turkey on October 3, 2001 by Law No. 4709 “the threat of war and crimes, except in cases of crimes of terrorism” was issued for our legislation.

A new regulation was made with Law No. 4771 of August 3, 2002, with the condition that “except for crimes committed in cases of war and imminent threat of war.”

Subsequently, articles related to the death penalty were eliminated from the Constitution with Law No. 5170 of May 7, 2004, and articles related to the death penalty were eliminated from the Turkish Penal Code with Law No. 5218 of July 14 2004.

In particular, “Sexual abuse of children” regulated in article 103 of the Turkish Penal Code, “Crimes against sexual immunity” in the sixth part of the same Law and the “Constitution that uses force and violence” regulated in Article 309. The imposition of the death penalty for the crimes of “Attempting to eliminate the order he presented” must be evaluated without prejudice.

None of our people should be wasted or wasted.

As is known, Turkey, in 2003, the European Convention on Human Rights on the Abolition of the Convention on the Death Penalty No. 6 signed the Protocol, and then the ‘Death Penalty on Elimination in all circumstances ‘No. 13 upon completion of the ratification process of the Protocol.

However, social provisions are maintained in Turkey, human rights and security, in addition to the death penalty in terms of legal stability, must be put on the agenda.

With the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on October 1, 2020, the legitimate expectation of our nation must be resolved with the agreement of its esteemed deputies, the child killers, the perverts, the scoundrels and the rapists must be punished.

The Nationalist Movement Party is not interested in the death penalty.

However, it is clear that there is no other path and option in the process that we are going through to achieve success in the fight against crimes and criminals who cross the border of fear, since there is no alternative.

Turkey is a completely independent country.

He will not accept any shadow over his decision and will.

By adhering to the principle of proportionality in the implementation of the death penalty, the balance and proportion of the penalty with the crime committed will be established and the torrent of violence and horror will be avoided. ”
