Images of relatives of patients attacking health workers at Keçiören Research and Training Hospital in Ankara sparked reactions. A statement came from Fahrettin Koca, following images of health workers entrenching their lives by erecting barricades.
When sharing on Twitter, Koca used the following statements:
In the Emergency Service of the Keçiören Research and Training Hospital, many people tried to see their relatives who were injured by firearms and could not be saved despite the interventions, forcing the rules. Our friends kept the door closed in case of violence. There should be no possibility of violence. The state will not allow it! ”
WHAT HAPPENED?
One of the injured, who was transferred to Keçiören Training and Research Hospital, died after the armed conflict in Ankara. Then, the relatives of the patients attacked the health workers in the hospital emergency. Health professionals who just locked themselves in a hospital department barely saved their lives.
