According to the survey conducted from November 1 to December 27, citizens asked “Is the mayor of your city successful? The top 10 was determined in the face-to-face survey in 7 of the 20 metropolitan cities and in the telephone survey in 13. According to the results of the survey, the Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor, Ekrem İmamoğlu, was elected the most successful mayor.

Second on the list is the metropolitan mayor of Erzurum, Mehmet Sekmen, from the AKP. Sekmen’s vote rate is 56.1. The CHP Mayor of Izmir, Tunç Soyer, ranks third with 55.6 percent. Fourth is Tahir Büyükakın, Mayor of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. Akın’s vote rate is 54.7 percent.
The fifth place is the mayor of Eskişehir, Yılmaz Büyükerşen. 53.8 percent of Eskişehir residents said they were satisfied with Erşen’s actions.
SonAR Research President Hakan Bayrakçı said Antalya Mayor Muhittin Böcek was not included in the study due to his displeasure at the survey he posted on social media.
