Istanbul Governorate, He explained the alternative roads and routes that will be closed from 2:00 p.m. tomorrow on the occasion of the March 8 International Women’s Day events to be held in Istanbul.
According to the statement, the roads to be closed are listed below:
1.Sıraselviler Caddesi will be closed from Meşelik Street to Taksim Square.
2.Taksim Meydan (in front of the kiosks): the road connecting to Istiklal Street will be closed.
3. The entrance and exit from Refik Saydam Street to Asmalı Mescit Street, Ensiz Street – İlk Belediye Caddesi intersection will be closed to traffic.
4.The intersection of Ballo Sokak-Turnacıbaşı Street will be closed to traffic.
5. Sadri Alışık Street – Atıf Yılmaz Street will be closed to traffic.
The direction from 6.Yeni Çarşı Caddesi, Kumbaracı Slope, Turnacıbaşı Street, Meşelik Street and Sadri Alışık Street to İstiklal Street will be closed to traffic.
7.Yeni Çarşı Caddesi – İstiklal Street intersection, İstiklal will not receive power.
8.The entrance of the Taksim tunnel, the entrance to İstiklal will be closed to traffic.
