In the framework of the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the tasks carried out in practice in order to improve the coordination between the armed forces of the two countries were not Finding the actual battle scenarios.
The exercise included 2,600 soldiers, 200 tanks and armored vehicles, 180 missile, cannon and mortar systems, 18 helicopters and aircraft, and more than 30 air defense systems.
The exercise began with the neutralization of the enemy’s representative reconnaissance and sabotage groups. Representative enemy targets were destroyed by missile and artillery fire in response to sabotage and provocations, after which the troops launched a counterattack.
The Turkish and Azerbaijani troops captured representative enemy positions with the attack, the enemy’s firing points and armored vehicles were destroyed.
As part of the exercise, enemy-owned UAVs were deactivated and reserve forces were attacked from the air. In the exercise, in which special units also participated, the detonation was carried out in certain areas.
At the end of the exercise, where the fighter jets carried out different missions, the helicopters flew displaying Turkish and Azerbaijani flags.
The exercise was followed by the Chairman of the Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Vasif Talibov, by the third commander of the army, Honorary Lieutenant General Öngay of Turkey.
