DHA got to the details of the silenced attack that took place at the money transfer center at a business office in Fatih Beyazıt last Monday. According to the allegations, 29-year-old Fatih H., who had learned to work as a store clerk, arrived at the inn’s money transfer center on the day of the incident and said he wanted to send money abroad.
A few hours later, Fatih H., who arrived at the same workplace this time with a silencer gun, shot 23-year-old Syrian businessman Mohamad Alyafi and wounded 45-year-old Muhanad Al Makki in the arm. A young Syrian named Hani A., who was working at the time of the incident, also jumped on the attacker and neutralized him. The attacker was captured with the help of other business owners at the commercial inn, who learned of the incident. The assailant Fatih H., who was injured as a result of the assault, and Muhanad Al Makki, who was injured in the arm, were treated at the hospital where they were taken. The body of Mohamad Alyafi, who died at the scene, was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
