American warships crossed the Bosphorus at hourly intervals. The US Navy missile frigate DDG 78 Borda named ‘USS Porter’ entered the Bosphorus from the Black Sea at 08:00. It was seen that there were many soldiers on the deck of the ship, which arrived under the Bridge of Martyrs on July 15 in about 1 hour. While the armed soldiers were seen to be on guard from the front and rear sections of the warship, other soldiers were seen on deck looking at the Bosphorus. Completing the Bosphorus crossing in approximately 1.5 hours, the ship sailed towards the Sea of Marmara.
THE SECOND SHIP PASSED AFTER 1 HOUR
About an hour after the missile frigate “USS Porter”, the DDG 75 Borda missile frigate called “USS Donald Cook” entered the Bosphorus from the Black Sea.
