According to the complaint, the 46-year-old MP Karabat, who is a financial advisor, foreign trade specialist, international financial reporting specialist, started when he met a woman during election studies.
In the house that the woman had invited, the blackmail process began when she approached MP Karabat.
A gang of three men, one of whom is a woman, named AA, ADE, CA, EB, recorded the MP with a hidden camera in the house. The gang, who then sent the camera footage to the officer, asked Karabat for 10 million TL.
“He asked Minister Soylu for help”
According to the OdaTV news Karabat, on the other hand, did not bow to the blackmail and appealed to Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu for help. Under the directive of Minister Soylu, the blackmail gang that fled to Cyprus was captured.
The gang members were detained by the 11th Criminal Court of the Peace for blackmail on December 24.
