The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) explained the process that has been going on article by article by explaining the claims related to the construction of roads of the Başakşehir City Hospital, which opened today.
In the statement, it was noted that the hospital road tender was prepared by the Ministry of Health in 2015, the road construction work was carried out by IMM and for this purpose, a bagless tender was launched throughout Istanbul in the same year .
After the tender, it was claimed that İBB started to make the roads in and around the hospital and has so far spent 580 million TL. So there is no path made from scratch. There is a path that has its deficiencies completed. ”
MANAGEMENT HAS PREVENTED PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT
It was also clarified how and when the construction of hospital roads stopped, which was discussed, the following statements were used:
* Construction stopped in July 2018.
* In the previous İBB administration, which stopped road construction, someone was working as a deputy secretary general.
* That person was the current Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoğlu.
* Why did hospital road construction stop?
* The construction contractor was directed to Dolmabahçe – Construction of the Ortaköy highway tunnel.
* The construction of tunnels was preferred to the construction of hospital roads.
* Construction that stopped in 2018 was no longer continued.
“THE MONEY TO RESIDUE GO TO TUNNEL”
It was stressed that the new IMM administration was unable to continue construction since the allocation for the road was spent on the construction of the tunnel, that is, there was no part of the budget left.
However, the following statements were used when explaining that IMM was still trying to build the hospital highway:
* On December 25, 2019, a meeting was held in the Istanbul Governorate under the chairmanship of Mr. Governor Ali Yerlikaya, at the request of İBB Ekrem İmamoğlu President.
* IMM stated that the source of the trail was used up in the past and cannot continue due to lack of resources.
* The Government also stressed that it will work to put into operation the Ministry of Transportation.
* Our Governor appreciated this initiative.
CALL FOR PROVINCES BANCO DE METRO
A similar situation is stated to be valid for the construction of the subway to the hospital and the following information is provided:
* Construction of the Başakşehir – Kayaşehir metro line began in March 2017, fully funded by equity without any loan agreement.
* However, in December of the same year, all work stopped with the article by İBB President Mevlüt Uysal.
* A serious resource is needed to complete the line where credit is not awarded.
* Because construction of the subway is only 6 percent complete.
* As told to the public, no steps have been taken to continue the work of the subway.
* As İBB, we have a solution proposal for the continuation of this construction: it is possible to deliver the metro to the hospital before the end of 2020 with € 100 million to be provided to İBB from Iller Bank. Taking this proposed solution into account will make transport in the hospital very comfortable.
