Kaya, who had a positive Kovid-19 test at the hospital he went to due to complaints such as joint weakness and pain, was treated at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Dursun Odabaş Medical Center.
Kaya, who was cared for in the hospital’s intensive care unit for 20 days, lost her fight for life around noon today.
A ceremony was held in front of the Van Courthouse for Kaya, who is married with a son.
After Kaya’s body wrapped in the Turkish flag was brought to the ceremony area, her resume was read.
In his speech at the ceremony, Van’s attorney general Oğuzhan Dönmez said they experienced the sadness of losing their colleagues, who set an example with their benevolence and love of duty.
Kaya’s body, which was carried on the shoulders of his colleagues after the recitation and prayer of the Qur’an, was loaded into the hearse and sent to his hometown from Van Ferit Melen Airport.
The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Van and the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Mehmet Emin Bilmez, the President of the Regional Court of Justice Emirşah Baştoğ, the Chief Prosecutor of the Regional Court of Justice Mustafa Dede, the Head of the Judicial Justice Commission Erhan Çavuşoğlu, Chief Deputy Prosecutor General of Police, Ali Lütfü Boya, Judges of Karaba The president of the Van Bar Association, Zülküf Uçar, and the court staff attended.
