Population and altitude information is removed from provincial posters

The General Directorate of Roads changed the information signs at the entrances and exits of each province and district after the population and altitude in some regions changed every year.

The population and altitude information was eliminated from the signs of the practice, which was carried out to avoid the economic expense that occurs with the changes that are made each year. Only the names of provinces and districts appeared on the posters.

In Kırıkkale, it was seen that the signs at the entrances and exits of the city were prepared according to the new arrangement. Signs in Ankara’s Elmadağ district were also noted to have been renewed.

ÇORUM HAS BEEN ON THE AGENDA WITH THE INFORMATION OF ‘RAKIM’

Another province where the change was made was Çorum. Corum, who stood out with posters in recent years, was recorded at 770 meters in the first, 801 meters in the second and 820 meters in the last photo, which was understood to be taken on different dates.

Çorum has been featured in social media posts as ‘Anatolia’s rising star’ due to his ever-increasing altitude. While the population and altitude information was removed from the signs in Çorum, only the name of the city remained.
