Former AKP mayor Zeki Yılmazer wounded Atıf Argun with a pistol. Argun, who was wounded by Yılmazer’s weapon, lost his life. Yılmazer, who was shot in the arm and released after his hospital treatment, was also detained.

WHAT HAPPENED?
There was a dispute between the former head of the Sinop municipality, Zeki Yılmazer and Atıf Argun for unknown reasons. After the debate turned into a fight, Yılmazer shot Atıf Argun with a pistol that he pulled from his waist. Argun, who was hit by 3 bullets in his body, collapsed in blood. While shooting with a pistol, former President Yılmazer was wounded in the hand. Health and police teams were dispatched to the area upon being notified by the surrounding people. The injured, who were first cared for by the incoming medical teams, were taken to Atatürk State Hospital and treated.
