Inspections were carried out in minibuses in which passengers were prohibited from standing according to the circular of the Ministry of the Interior.

Due to the increase in the number of cases, additional measures have been taken.

Within the scope of these measures, the reception of standing passengers on public transport was prohibited.

After the ban, teams from the Directorate of the Traffic Inspection Branch of the Istanbul Provincial Police Department inspected the minibuses operating in urban transport at different points.

PASSENGER AND MASK CONTROL

During the inspections, it was verified if the standing passengers were taken within the scope of the coronavirus measures, and if the driver and passengers comply with the rules of social distance with masks.

It was said that inspections would be carried out frequently.

On the other hand, during the inspection carried out in the Esenyurt district, it was found that there were 33 passengers in a 12-person minibus carrying standing passengers.

The teams imposed a fine on this minibus driver.
