The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. at the TEM Highway Dörtdivan toll booths. According to the information obtained, Barış Bayram, one of the passengers, was unloaded from the highway as a result of an argument that broke out for an unknown reason on the passenger bus, which was flying the Istanbul-Kayseri flight.
Getting off the bus, while Bayram was crossing the opposite lane to go to a resting place on the highway, 14 trucks with ER 182 plate under the direction of Burak Gümüşoğlu, which were sailing in the direction of Istanbul, struck the young man.
Following notification of the truck driver Gümüşoğlu, 112 health, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination of the medical equipment, it was determined that Barış Bayram died at the scene.
According to the UAV news; Bayram’s body was taken to the morgue of the Köroğlu Unit of İzzet Baysal State Hospital after the prosecutor’s examinations. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
