According to MedyaRadar’s claim, Cavit Çağlar, who owns the frequency and name rights to Olay TV, has reached a dispute with Hüseyin Köksal, a Trabzon businessman, who provided 70 percent of the channel’s financing.
As the dispute could not be resolved, it was decided to close Olay TV as of December 25, 2020.
Under the departure of Cavit Çağlar, it is claimed that the HDP group meeting was broadcast from beginning to end only on Olay TV between news channels.
