In the US state of Alaska, it was reported that a healthcare worker who received the coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech was hospitalized due to a severe allergic reaction.
According to the news from the New York Times (NYT) newspaper based on an anonymous source, there is a Health workerOn Tuesday, after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, she had a severe allergic reaction. The current condition of the person who was hospitalized was assessed as stable.
The American healthcare worker’s reaction to the vaccine was claimed to be similar to reactions seen in two healthcare workers in England last week.
It is not yet known if the Alaskan health worker is allergic to medications.
Mass vaccination against the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) began last Monday in the United States. Developed in partnership with Pfizer-BioNTech, the vaccine is being administered for the first time to healthcare professionals and residents of nursing homes.
