WALL – Aşık Engin Nurşani, who had been treated for throat cancer for a time and passed away, was buried. While many folk music artists such as Erdal Erzincan, Tolga Sağ and Muharrem Temiz participated in the funeral ceremony, Nurşani was sent on her last trip to be buried in the newborn cemetery.
Today a funeral ceremony was held for the artist at Sancaktepe Sarıgazi Cemevi. At the ceremony, his wife Dilek Nurşani, his mother Angelika Ayhan and his father Aşık Ali Nurşani accepted the condolences. Many folk music artists such as Erdal Erzincan, Tolga Sağ, Muharrem Temiz and Latif Doğan attended Engin Nurşani’s funeral. He did not leave his Nurşani lovers alone as they sent him on his last journey.
After the ceremony at the Cemevi, the folk music artists said to Engin Nurşani: “Your friend, the beauty of roses is paradise for me”, “Don’t be fooled, don’t be fooled”, “Crazy heart ( there is no other person but you) “.
