The Ministry of National Defense announced that the NEXUS ACE mission was carried out in the international airspace of the Aegean and the Mediterranean in preparation for possible future NATO operations and exercises.
Turkey, although in the international arena, especially with member states if it submits to double standards in the fight against terrorism, it also continues to literally fulfill its obligations to NATO.
“NEXUS ACE” MISSION IN THE NATO CONTEXT
Finally, in a written statement from the Ministry of National Defense, information about the NEXUS ACE mission was included:
“The NEXUS ACE mission was carried out in the international airspace of the Aegean and the Mediterranean in order to increase the cooperation of NATO member countries, implement and develop NATO standard operating procedures and allow all allied countries apply the same standard procedures in potential future NATO operations and exercises. 13 and 16 NATO AWACS, Airborne Early Warning and Control (HIK) and F-16 served on the NEXUS ACE flight, which took place in November 2020. On the NEXUS ACE mission, our NATO AWACS aircraft and the HİK aircraft, the Peace Eagle, served as the command and control element.
