The Interior Ministry sent a circular on “Postponement of wide participation events” to 81 provincial governments. 1. In line with the situation regarding the postponement of the general assemblies of the association; It was evaluated that the activities (including general assemblies) that will be organized by non-governmental organizations, professional organizations and higher organizations, unions and cooperatives, which were previously decided not to take place until 12.01.2020, should be postponed until 03.01.2021.
The decisions of the Provincial / District General Hygiene Boards will be taken urgently by the governors and district governors in accordance with articles 27 and 72 of the General Health Law in accordance with the aforementioned principles. There will be no interruptions in the application.
Those who do not comply with the decisions made will be subject to administrative actions in accordance with the relevant articles of the General Hygiene Law and the necessary legal proceedings will be initiated within the scope of article 195 of the Turkish Penal Code.
