Deputy Minister of Justice Şaban Yılmaz was appointed by the First Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors of the Istanbul Attorney General’s Office. West Ankara Chief Prosecutor Ahmet Akça was appointed Ankara Chief Prosecutor. Gökhan Karaköse was appointed Chief Prosecutor of West Ankara which left Akça vacant.
Şanlıurfa’s Attorney General Tolgahan Öztoprak was appointed Mersin Attorney General, Rize Attorney General Önder Kemal Sekücü, Gaziantep Attorney General, and Niğde Attorney General Önder Yeniçeri, Anlıurfa Attorney General.
WHO IS ŞABAN YILMAZ?
Born in Rize in 1970, Şaban Yılmaz graduated from Istanbul University Law School in 1993. Yılmaz served as a prosecutor and attorney general in various provinces and districts.
