A men’s national basketball team defeated the Netherlands 73-71 in the match of the fourth week of Qualifying Group D of the 2022 FIBA European Championship.
While the crescent team achieved their first group victory with this result, the Netherlands lost for the second time.
Starting the match with Larkin’s baskets, Team A went ahead 11-5 in the 5th minute. While the Netherlands scored with Kherrazi and Hammink, the crescent team in response with Larkin and Alperen Şengün finished the first period with an advantage of 24-14.
The Netherlands, which started in the second half, turned the scoreboard in favor in the 16th minute with the successive baskets that they scored with Franke and De Vries: 35-33. If the basket of Arar and Larkin with superiority goes back to Turkey, they also went to the dressing room ahead 41-37.
