INFORMATION GIVEN TO PUTIN ABOUT THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Defense Minister Shoigu cited the work on the placement of the Russian Peacekeeping Forces at the determined points and said:
* Under the agreement, the soldiers of the Russian Peace Force, consisting of 1,960 soldiers, 90 armored vehicles and 380 vehicles, are scheduled to be stationed at observation points along the contact line and the Lachin corridor in Karabakh.
* One thousand 103 soldiers and one thousand 168 military teams arrived in the region with 73 flights in 3 days. From November 10-11, the Lachin corridor came under control. At 5:00 p.m. yesterday Peace Force units were dispatched to the cities of Khankendi and Shusha and 4 observation points were established.
* Today, we hope to complete the establishment of the observation points at the South point. Peacekeepers from another unit were stationed in northern Nagorno-Karabakh.
Shoigu also claimed that lines of communication were established with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
INFORMATION GIVEN TO THE UNITED NATIONS
Foreign Minister Lavrov, for his part, referring to the diplomacy points of the agreement, stated that the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the UN Security Council were briefed on the details of the agreement.
Lavrov also stated that they are in constant communication with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid and the Office of the United Nations Development Program.
Emergency Situations Minister Zinichev announced that they will send technical teams to the region and plan to establish a field hospital in the region.
FSB President Bortnikov stated that border posts were deployed at 2 points in the Armenia-Nakhchivan region and 5 points on the Armenia-Iran border. (İHA)
