Minister Soylu pointed out to AYM President Arslan: You don’t need police protection. Come work on your bike!

Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu attended the opening ceremony of the Negotiation Course on Social Events in Ankara. Speaking here, Süleyman Soylu criticized the Constitutional Court’s decision to annul the provision that “demonstrations and marches cannot be held on interurban roads. Addressing the president of AYM, Zühtü Arslan, Soylu made harsh statements:

* Here I say to the president of the Constitutional Court. As we are a free country, you have approved the abolition of the right to walk freely on the main streets. You don’t need police protection. We are going to work with your bike. I say to the president of the Constitutional Court, I am ready to go alone with my own car, do you exist?

WHERE DOES THIS COUNTRY WANT TO TAKE AYM?

* This is the best place to find out what kind of problems this decision will cause in practice. We are facing an interesting job. I mean, I really don’t understand. Where does AYM want to take this country? Terms, forms. This is freedom, this is not freedom.

* Something wants to be done here, only if it is close to a terrorist organization, it should not enter the public, whoever does it. If you are affiliated with FETO, if it is adapted, it should not enter the public. I tell you, Mr. President of AYM, I am experiencing the tears of one year old children at the funerals of the martyrs. We are talking to those fathers and mothers. We are the wounded.
