Regarding the new measures taken in the field of the fight against the coronavirus epidemic, the Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, said that “if these measures are not complied with and the same sensitivity is not shown, new measures may be inevitable.”

The Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, said in the Planning and Budget Commission of the Parliament, before the complaints of journalists that the measures will be toughened after yesterday’s restrictions, the measures to be taken in the next period will be related to the course of the pandemic.

“THE VIRUS HAS BECOME A PERIOD OF GLOBAL TRANSMISSION”

Highlights from Minister Koca’s statements:

“The growing trend in our big cities like Istanbul, Izmir and Bursa has spread to almost the whole country.”

“Next year we aim to complete 273 health establishments, 54 of which are hospitals, and bring 13,995 qualified beds to our country. “

“It has almost gone through a period of mass contagion without losing any of its viruses. To date, the number of positive cases in the world has reached 55 million. The death toll exceeded 1 million 326 thousand. More than 100,000 serious cases are currently struggling to survive in hospitals. “

PRECAUTIONS ARE INEVITABLE

“It seems we have to discipline our lives more strictly for a while. Parallel to the world, in our country 16 different vaccine studies are carried out. One of them successfully completed the preclinical period and began human trials. Phase studies of vaccines originating in China and Germany also continue in our country. I hope to receive the vaccine before the end of this year. Our duty is to be able to pass this process safely. “

“Currently, we expect our 83 million citizens to be responsive to the actions taken. Therefore, we can only reduce this and overcome it by fighting together. I do not think that new measures can come into play as long as the measures are followed. However, if these measures are not followed and the same sensitivity is not shown, further measures may be unavoidable. “
