In a statement following the Scientific Committee meeting, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca released rates in the provinces with daily arrivals and departures to Istanbul.
Minister Koca said the increase in cases in Bursa was 84 percent. After Koca’s statement, Bursa Governor Yakup Canbolat made a statement about the latest situation.
Canpolat said: “The largest increase in Bursa is seen in the Osmangazi and Yıldırım districts.” “Will there be a curfew?” Responding to the question, Canbolat said:
“There is no restriction like a curfew. But, does our ministry impose a curfew in the framework of the Scientific Committee? It is not possible for us to know or decide from here. There is currently no planned curfew.
Like Bursa, we are doing the necessary work. There is also no restriction. If there is a restriction in the framework of the decisions made by the Scientific Committee, we will apply it in Bursa. Apart from that, the Provincial Hygiene Board and the district boards already make all the decisions. In October, Covid-19 cases are increasing rapidly. We need to reduce this speed. Our citizens must have contribution and support in this regard. We want everyone to be sensitive “
